The "yellow ball" is used in turn by each player and scores double. Scoring for the competition is taken from 2 of the 3 players (doesn't have to be the yellow ball player)

Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 60% of lowest Winter Course Handicap plus 40% of highest Winter Course Handicap. All subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 39.4 for men and 39.9 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.
Any countback will initially be determined by exact team handicap allowance. Each individual handicap allowance is calculated to 1 decimal place and added together, multiplied by 7 and divided by 9 before rounding the total to 1 decimal place.
Both players tee off then play a shot using partners ball. Select the best 2nd shot then play alternate shots.

Playing Handicap (strokes received) = 15% of the higher Winter Course Handicap plus 35% of the lower Winter Course Handicap, subject to a maximum Handicap Index of 39.4 for men and 39.9 for ladies. Players with higher handicaps may enter but will receive shots based on these limits.
Each player tees off as normal and the best of these shots is then chosen to be used for the next shot. Each player takes their shot from that spot and this process continues until the hole is played out.
Each player should take at least 6 drives. Mark the score for the hole in the column of the player whose tee shot was used.
Countback will initially be determined using the team handicap limit calculated to 1 decimal place. If this does not produce a result then the usual back 9, back 6, back 3...etc will be used.

Playing Handicap (strokes received) for Texas scramble = 30%/20%/10% of the Course Handicaps (that is the sum of 30% of the lowest handicap, 20% of middle handicap and 10% of the highest handicap).
Each player in the team tees off as normal and the best of these shots is then chosen to be used for the next shot. Each member of the team hits their shot from that spot and this process continues until the hole is played out.
