23 Ladies played in the 18 hole competition & 9 Ladies entered the concurrent 9 hole competition

The Wardle cup was won by Millie Marsh with a net score of 70.

Best gross on the day was Jayne Barrs with 87. Other divisional winners were Sue Ellis & Sally Bull.

Divisonal runner ups: Div 1 - Sue Northridge & Div 2 Karen Palmer. No runner up in Div 3 due to number of entrants

Winner of the Victor Oade Coffee Pot for the best gross score in bronze division was Eunice Rice (on countback from Karen Palmer)

9 hole winner on the day was Julie Smith, with runner up Wendy Taylor

(Note: Ladies can only claim 1 prize)

2 Ladies played in the first of the LWRC medal competition of the season.

Well done to Jayne Baarrs scoring a net 78 on the day.

(Winner at the end of the season is the lady with the lowest score from best Medal competition less 2 best Stableford scores)

Winner of the Rabbits Cup (best score from a playing handicap over 23 - subject to meeting the entry requirement for an Honours Board comp) - Ken Thomas with a nett score of 74 pipping the Captain by a shot. Well done Ken.

Unfortunately there were 2 cards that were in the prizes that we had to Disqualify because 1 card didnt have their handicaps written on, and the other card wasn't handed in.
All together there were 5 cards that didnt have handicaps written on.

The annual LC v LVC match was held on 1st March.

It was a close fought match, but I'm pleased to say that the LC team edged it on the day
